Since March 2022, Germany has been gathering evidence of war crimes committed in Ukraine and conducting its own investigation, according to German Prosecutor General Peter Frank, as reported by Welt am Sonntag. He stated that they are currently focusing on the massacres in Bucha and attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. Frank also noted that the German prosecutors office has already obtained evidence of hundreds of crimes committed by the Russian military in Ukraine, but they are not yet investigating specific individuals.
