At a meeting of the Chernihiv City Council on February 21, the deputies voted to rename streets in the city in order to remove any place names that honor, commemorate, promote, or symbolize the Russian Federation and Belarus. One of the streets, formerly known as Belov Street, was renamed after the 1st Separate Tank Siverskaya Brigade.
