Forecasters are predicting snowfall in Kyiv and the surrounding area on Monday, March 6th. Temperatures are expected to be between -2 and +4 degrees Celsius during the day and night, with cloudy skies and some clearings. The wind will be blowing at 7-12 meters per second. Natalia Didenko, a weather forecaster, has said that the warmest day of the week will be Wednesday, March 8th, with temperatures reaching up to +10 degrees Celsius in the south and center of Ukraine, and up to +12 to +15 degrees Celsius. This winter has been one of the warmest on record in Kyiv, with 17 temperature records being set. The meteorological winter is still in effect, and the real spring will not arrive until the average daily temperature rises above 0 degrees Celsius. According to the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average air temperature over the winter was -0.4°C, which is 2.1°C above the climate norm.
