The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested a former member of the Sparta Battalion of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic in Odesa. In 2015, he was involved in the conflict against Ukraine in the east, taking part in the battle near Donetsk Airport. After being wounded, he moved to the area under Ukrainian control and eventually returned to Odesa, but kept in contact with his former terrorist associates.
