President Zelenskyy has signed a law that will provide compensation to owners of housing that has been damaged or destroyed as a result of hostilities. Those affected will receive digital housing certificates that will entitle them to compensation, beginning February 24, 2022. This law does not apply to properties that were located in the temporarily occupied territory at the time martial law was declared.
