The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the intention of five neighboring countries to extend the ban on the export of Ukrainian products after September 15.

"We consider it categorically unacceptable to continue trade restrictions on the import of agricultural products of Ukraine after the expiration of the ban of the European Commission.
They cause complete misunderstanding and intentions to add other categories of Ukrainian products to the list of prohibited products," the ministry emphasized.

But they called on the leadership of the EU and member countries, "some of which have received increased funding from the European budget," to find a balanced solution based on EU legislation and the Association Agreement.
