According to SBU materials, another 5 Russian militants who fought against Ukraine near Mariupol and Bakhmut received prison terms

Ukrainian defenders captured four militants during clashes in the districts of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Another one was detained while carrying out enemy reconnaissance in Zaporizhzhia.

One of the perpetrators received 12 years in prison, the other three received 10 years, another perpetrator was sentenced to 9 years in prison.

Among the criminals is the commander of the unit of the occupation groups of the Russian Federation, who long before the full-scale invasion joined the ranks of the so-called "people's militia of the LNR".

Also convicted was a militant from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, who was twice captured by Ukrainian defenders.

The first time he was exchanged, but soon he again found himself in the ranks of the regular troops of the Russian Federation.

In addition, two more militants of the Russian-controlled "Vostok" battalion, as well as a member of the Russian "Oplot" group, who participated in battles against the Armed Forces near Donetsk and Mariupol, received prison terms.
