It's the winter drowsies...I have them too, and my little stray outdoor kitty, Diablo, was not amused that his food was a bit late.

@Atticus1956 My cats usually come in through the kitty door and wake me around 6AM. There is abundant dry food but I split a can of Friskies salmon or tuna between them in the morning.
@TheOldGuy Hah, they're treated as well as Diablo who gets 1/2 can of wet & 1/2 cup of dry twice a day. He will come in to eat, but will not stay. I have an insulated house with a heater for him in the winter for the front porch. He protects our estate. You're as big a softie as me, must be a Missouri thing.
