Crimea is a large military warehouse for Russia, - Podolyak

Russia is aware that it has lost Crimea, but the confidence that the peninsula will remain Russian is based on Putin’s belief in the special, sacred significance of the peninsula, said Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

💬 “For Putin personally, this is a sacred, symbolic place from which his attempt to restore the USSR began. It will end there,” Podolyak noted.
