The Russian Defense Ministry showed an image of the allegedly living Black Sea Fleet commander Viktor Sokolov at the meeting - earlier, the Ukrainian Special Forces claimed to have eliminated him.

The ministry also released a video of the meeting. In it, Sokolov appears completely still on the screen, even when he suddenly wears glasses between the 5-second splices (04:26-04:31).

Before that, Peskov said that he "has no information about the alleged death of Black Sea Fleet Commander Sokolov.
