🇺🇦 Despite russia's ongoing war against Ukraine, agrarians continue to work to ensure food security, the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy informs:

🔹 In the last week of September, Ukrainian farmers harvested an additional 4 million tons of grains and oilseeds.

🔹 As of the end of September, Ukrainian farmers have harvested 41.7 million tons of new crops: 30.5 mln tons of grains and 11.2 mln tons of oilseeds.

🔹Grain and pulses were harvested on an area of 6,972 thou hectares with a yield of 43.7 c/ha, including:

🔸wheat was harvested on 4 693 thou hectares;
🔸barley was harvested on 1 504 thou hectares;
🔸peas threshed on 154.4 thou hectares;
🔸corn was harvested on 146.5 thou hectares;
🔸buckwheat threshed on 109.4 thou hectares;
🔸millet threshed on 64.2 thou hectares;
🔸other grains and legumes threshed on 300 thou hectares.
