1.7 million hectares sown with winter wheat in Ukraine — the Agrarian Policy Committee
🔹 Agrarians are working tirelessly to ensure food security in wartime.
🔹Thus, agricultural producers in all regions of Ukraine are sowing winter crops. As of October 3, 2.99 million hectares have already been sown, including 1.9 million hectares of grain, in particular:
🔸 Rapeseed - 1087 thou ha;
🔸Wheat - 1743 thou hectares;
🔸Barley - 109 thou hectares;
🔸Rye - 53.6 thou hectares.
🔹Over the previous week, 764.7 thou hectares of winter grains and 49 thou hectares of winter rape were sown. Sumy region agrarians sowed the most winter grains — 87% of the forecast.
🔹 At the same time, in the southern regions, wheat was hardly sown due to lack of moisture:
🔸Odesa region - 8%;
🔸Mykolaiv region - 12%;
🔸Kherson region - 13%.
