"Unfortunately, the battle for electricity awaits us again. The Russians have enough forces and means [...] to create very real problems not only for our energy sector, but also for the oil and gas sector, industrial enterprises, and military facilities," Kyrylo Budanov told "Ukrainian Pravda".
According to the head of the GUR, Ukraine needs much more air defense equipment than it currently has.
☝️ At the same time, Kyrylo Budanov does not rule out that blackouts are possible in Russia as well.
"Temporary [blackouts in Moscow] are also possible. This is a completely logical phenomenon: when you take some bad steps, sooner or later it will come back to you," said the head of Ukrainian intelligence.
