Soldier Valery Hnatyshyn died on July 8, 2023 in Donetsk region.

He was 54 years old. Lived in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Engaged in farming: sowed fields, planted sunflowers and wheat.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, although he had health problems. Served in the 4th separate tank brigade.

At first he was a driver, later he was transferred to the position of a gunner-number of machine gun service and together with his comrades went to defend the city of Bakhmut.

"During his service, he showed extraordinary dedication, perseverance, efficiency and professionalism," said daughter Olena Hnatyshina.

The soldier is survived by his mother, wife, daughter and son.
