⚫ The transformative impact of living with a Jewish family

11 years ago, I was awarded the best educational idea in Saudi Arabia, honored by Minister of Education Prince Faisal Ben Abdullah, and received $40,000 for my initiative to teach English to thousands through entertainment on YouTube.

This achievement came three years after my life-changing experience in Paris with a Jewish family. They instilled in me the values of doing good in the world and healing the world (תיקון עולם), and I embraced that mission.

The Loay influenced by Islamism in his early 20s would never have contributed positively to humanity. However, the Loay who, 14 years ago, rid himself of hate with the guidance of a single Jewish family in Paris, chose a different path—to benefit humanity.

Since that pivotal moment, I've strived to do good for humanity. Though I've made mistakes, I am confident I'm on the right track to becoming a person who positively impacts the world.

To those influenced by Islamism: reject it.

It won't lead you to contribute positively to humanity.

Embrace a faith that encourages you to love all human beings and to do good for humanity.

I made that choice. You can too.
