An investigation by the Meduza publication reveals that Russian authorities have implemented a comprehensive system of "re-education" for children abducted from Ukraine, aimed at instilling a "Russian identity" in them. These children are misled into believing that their parents are deceased and are labeled as "potential terrorists."
The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is identified as the primary agency responsible for the "indoctrination" of deported Ukrainian children. A dictionary for teachers has been developed, containing words and phrases deemed as "extremist" on a nationalist basis, which may be used by the deported children. Examples include "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!", "Racism," "Orcs," among others.
The methodology employed by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation attributes the children's displacement to the ongoing war, describing it as a result of the "complication of the geopolitical situation, which prompts families to undergo forced resettlement."
