The Coalition of Armored Vehicles in Support of Ukraine was established in Warsaw under the leadership of Poland and Germany and with the support of Great Britain, Sweden and Italy, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

At the inaugural meeting, representatives of the participating countries formulated a unified position on strengthening the technical capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with specific models of armored vehicles and organizing their maintenance system.

Four syndicates were formed within the coalition, each of which includes a Ukrainian representative and is assigned specific tasks:

▫️Procurement of weapons and ammunition for Western armored vehicles.
▫️Maintenance and repair.
▫️Training of crews and technical personnel.
▫️Development of effective tactics for the use of armored vehicles on the battlefield.

Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havrylyuk commented: "This initiative by our allies is crucial given the challenges the Armed Forces face in repairing foreign armored vehicles. With the help of our allies, we aim to establish an efficient repair infrastructure for Western armored vehicles in Ukraine as soon as possible.

The newly formed coalition will develop a roadmap in line with the development strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the long term, member countries will help shape the future armored fleet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foster an innovative industrial partnership with Ukraine.
