The United States has extended sanctions against the Russian Federation for its involvement in cyberattacks for another year, according to the White House.

The Biden administration asserts that significant malicious activity in cyberspace still poses an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.

"As a result, the state of emergency declared on April 1, 2015, should be maintained beyond April 1, 2024," stated the US president's administration.
