What is known: Iran attacked Israel with a number of 170 drones, over 30 cruise missiles and over 120 ballistic missiles. The vast majority of them were intercepted. The attack lasted 5 hours.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said none of the drones entered Israeli airspace, and all were shot down over Iraq and Jordan by allied fighter jets.

US forces were also involved in defending Israel, intercepting more than 70 one-way attack drones and at least three ballistic missiles, according to two US officials familiar with the situation.

The ballistic missiles that did reach Israel fell on the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel, Hagari said, adding that they caused only light structural damage.

Iran claims all military targets intended to be hit, were successfully hit.
