According to ex-NATO general Bühler, who reports on Ukraine multiple times per week through German MDR, Russia is currently pushing with some success especially in the center of Eastern Ukraine, because Russia sees a window of opportunity due to the stop of aid from US and the still missing artillery ammunition delivery from Europe through the Czech initiative. An additional factor is that Ukraine is short on long-range air defense missiles. However, also Russia knows that this window is going to close soon with the Czech initiative, so they're really desperately pushing at the moment.
