Chancellor Olaf Scholz seeks six more Patriot systems for Ukraine from NATO countries.

"NATO has made it very clear that, with regard to the systems available in the NATO states, several of them could certainly make a decision, as we have, to hand over another system so that better protection is possible against the many attacks that Ukraine is currently suffering. At this point, I would like to expressly reiterate this appeal. We’ve heard that there should be seven additional [Patriot] systems. One of them is ours. And we hope to find six more in the NATO context," Scholz said.

He also emphasized that Berlin has already transferred two Patriot systems and recently announced the transfer of a third, which is "a call for approval of many other similar decisions."
