Meta's press secretary was given six years in absentia for "justifying terrorism" - but he has never been to Z-landia - Sirena

The 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced Meta Corporation spokesman Andy Stone in absentia to six years of general imprisonment.

He was found guilty under the article on “calls for terrorism.” In November 2023, Stone was put on the international wanted list, and in February 2024 he was included in the register of “terrorists and extremists” of Rosfinmonitoring.

The case against Stone was opened when the Meta platforms (Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram) were temporarily allowed to publish threats and calls for violence against the Z-military in the spring of 2022. Later, a Meta representative clarified that calls for violence against the civilian population of Russia are still unacceptable.

The defense repeatedly mentioned inaccuracies in the case materials: for example, the prosecution documents stated that Stone was put on the wanted list with the wording “hide from the territory of the Russian Federation,” but the investigation later established that he had never been to Russia.

During the trial, two of the three articles under which Stone was accused—calls for terrorist and extremist activities “disappeared from the criminal case due to the lack of corpus delicti.”

These kind of propaganda-trials are not only absolutely ridiculous but also underline only once more to which abyss the Z-injustice system has fallen.
