Medvedev is threatening the West with WWIII again, including nuclear war (see the last paragraph of his translated post below).

When Western politicians started discussing the possibility of Western troops in Ukraine, that has created a situation of strategic uncertainty for Russia. The fact itself of discussing sending troops to Ukraine shows how great a threat Russia is considered to civilized countries at the moment and how important it is to stop Putin and not allow Ukraine's defeat.

That is why Russian high-ranking leadership and Russian propagandists continue with their threats and saber-rattling about such prospects - because they recognize power and strength in these statements. Power and strength are the only things Russia really understands.

Russian long-term plan is the destruction of Ukraine. So whatever is done to make Russia abandon this plan is perceived as a threat by Russians, and that is exactly the right course of action.

Translation of Medvedev's post, in his usual style:

"The chorus of irresponsible scoundrels among the Western political elite calling for sending their troops to a non-existent country is expanding. It now includes representatives of the U.S. Congress, the French and British leadership, and some lunatics from the Baltics and Poland. They also call for the active use of their missile weapons, supplied by them to the Banderites, throughout the territory of Russia.
And this is not a spring fever, but a cynical calculation on political dividends. There is some kind of total degradation of the ruling class in the West. This class really does not want to connect elementary things logically. Sending their troops to the territory of Ukraine will entail a direct entry of their countries into the war, to which we will have to respond. And, alas, not on the territory of Ukraine.

In this case, none of them will be able to hide neither on Capitol Hill, nor in the Elysee Palace, nor at 10 Downing Street. A world catastrophe will come.

By the way, Kennedy and Khrushchev were able to realize this more than 60 years ago. But the infantile morons who have reached power in the West today do not want to realize it.

And that is why today the General Staff has begun preparations for the exercises, including measures to practise the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons".
