The EU plans to restrict 11 vessels that contribute to russia's ability to wage a full-scale war against Ukraine in a new package of sanctions against Russia, — Bloomberg.

If the proposed measures are approved by the Member States, the ships will be blocked from accessing EU ports and anchorages, and the logistics for operating these ships will be complicated. The ban will also apply to insurance and technical assistance. European providers will also be prohibited from transshipping goods from ship to ship.

The vessels to be sanctioned include 4 fuel tankers, 2 oil tankers, 2 gas storage facilities used in Novatek's liquefied natural gas transshipment project on the Kamchatka Peninsula, and a cargo ship.
