https://t.me/WarriorsUkrainian/30876Ukraine has surpassed Russia in UAV production, manufacturing 3,000 FPV drones per day, according to Forbes.
Forbes technology journalist David Hambling compared the use of the most common UAVs by Russian and Ukrainian forces. He noted that Russia's primary attack UAV, the "Lancet," is more powerful than its Ukrainian counterparts and is primarily used for counter-battery combat. However, it often fails to destroy well-protected Western howitzers, such as the German PzH-2000, or ends up targeting high-quality mock-ups of weapons. Moreover, the Russian army receives only 300 Lancets per month.
In contrast, Ukrainian industry produces 3,000 strike drones per day, which has a significant impact on the battlefield.
Summarizing the comparison, Hambling writes:
"The Lancet is certainly effective, but it is overshadowed by other drones. In a war that requires both quantity and quality, Russia will lose both."
