President of Finland: China can end the war in Ukraine with one call.
"Now Russia is so dependent on China. A single phone call from Chinese President Xi Jinping would resolve this crisis. If he had said, 'It's time to start peace talks,' Russia would have been forced to do so," Stubb said in an interview with Bloomberg.
In his opinion, Beijing will benefit from an end to Putin's "war of aggression and coloniality" in Ukraine, as well as demonstrate China's leadership around the world. Stubb also criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who the day before asked President Volodymyr Zelensky to enter into negotiations with Moscow and achieve a ceasefire.
"At present, there can be no question of insisting on a ceasefire, real peace negotiations are needed. The only thing Russia understands is force. And therefore, the more we can help Ukraine now, the sooner we will end the war," the Finnish president said.
He called on Europe to increase military support for Kyiv, build up its own defense capabilities and counter Russia's "hybrid" attacks. According to Stubb, Ukraine needs financial assistance and political support, which would include strengthening the path to EU and NATO membership.
The Finnish president added that Europe should move more to a "wartime economy" by combining orders for ammunition and weapons to give its industry a long-term perspective.

True, ruZZia is now not more than a mangy dog chained to the wall cowering to China's will. Any order of Xi will bring Putin to his heel. Logical reaction is to increase pressure on China by cutting trade.
