❗️On Thursday, July 18, a World Central Kitchen (WCK) humanitarian aid vehicle, clearly marked, was struck by a russian short-range explosive device fired by a drone as it was returning from a food delivery mission near Oleksandrivka, Ukraine. Fortunately, no injuries were reported; the driver was unharmed, and there were no passengers. It remains unclear whether the WCK vehicle was specifically targeted by russia.

World Central Kitchen has served over 260 million meals to families in frontline communities and first responders in Ukraine. In the past two years of their operations in Ukraine, seven WCK volunteers have been killed by russian military strikes.
