The New York Times conducted an investigation into Russia's procurement of high-tech goods circumventing sanctions.

The Kh-101 missile, which Russia used to strike the "Okhmatdyt" hospital in Kyiv, contained an American FPGA chip manufactured. However, since the beginning of the war, FPGA worth over $390 million has been imported into Russia.
