The gas platform is reported to be still burning.

Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk reported that Russian forces used this platform for GPS spoofing "in order to make civilian shipping dangerous." According to him, the day before the strike, Russia dropped its equipment and military personnel onto the platform. It is not reported when exactly the strike took place.
