For the third day in a row, a DDOS attack has been carried out on the Ukrainian Monobank.
For the third day in a row, the Monobank system has been under a large-scale hacker attack. To date, the bank has received 5.5 billion requests.
This was announced by the co-founder of Monobank Oleg Gorokhovsky.
He noted that AWS (Amazon Web Services) employees had already been involved in repelling the hacker attack and offered the assistance of specialists from the Ukrainian special services.
"For them (AWS, - ed.) A cyberattack of this magnitude is also atypical. The situation is under control, but the scale is impressive," Gorokhovsky wrote.
Monobank reported a massive DDOS attack on its servers on the evening of August 16. The co-founder of the bank assumes that this is the work of the Russian special services, which want to hack the bank through active participation in fundraisers for the Ukrainian military.
A day earlier, Oleg Gorokhovsky said that the bank had received about "a billion requests for services in 3 hours", but assured that the situation was under control. He noted that Monobank specialists repel the attack, "sipping coffee with donuts."
