Ukraine has drones and missiles of its own production with a range of 1.500 kilometers, Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin said in an interview with CNN. According to him, these shells have already been used to strike Russia. Kamyshin did not disclose other details.

On August 27, President Zelensky said that Ukraine had successfully tested the first ballistic missile of its own production. At the same time, the head of state did not give any details, citing secrecy.

A few days earlier, Zelensky announced the successful launch of the Ukrainian long-range Palyanytsa drone missile.

In Soviet times, Ukraine had the capacity to produce military missile technology. In particular, ballistic missiles were produced at the Southern Machine-Building Plant in Dnipro.
