They were planning a "cyber war": saboteurs from Russia and Belarus were exposed in Poland
Polish intelligence services have neutralized a network of Russian and Belarusian cyber saboteurs who planned to infiltrate the systems of state authorities and local governments in the country in order to obtain information, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization of Poland Krzysztof Gawkowski.
"Over the past few days, we have managed to expose a group that had specific goals in Poland and operated from a specific location," he noted.
Gawkowski added that the cyber saboteurs were trying to "cause political, military and economic paralysis in Poland." However, the theft of data was avoided.
