Former Chechen Prime Minister Demands Ban on Darwin's Theory in Schools

Ex-Chechen Prime Minister and current Mishustin's assistant Muslim Khuchiev made this proposal at a meeting of the All-Russian Parents' Committee.

During the meeting, Khuchiev stated that Darwin’s theory is “erroneous,” is “the first step in the spiritual corruption of children,” and also contradicts all religions.

We can simply remove it. Darwin's theory is not true, it contradicts religious education, all religions have recognized it. Who else should recognize it so that it can be removed from textbooks and not instilled into the consciousness of our children?

The ex-mayor of Grozny and current PM assistent Khuchiev is known not only as a Darwin's theory denier, but also as a lover of torturing people, for which US sanctions were imposed against him. On September 7, the ECHR awarded compensation of €26,000 to Chechen businessman Lom-Ali Elbiev, who was tortured for three hours in the building of the Grozny City Hall. The mayor (Khuchiev) and his subordinates forced Elbiev under torture to write a promissory note for 28 million rubles, and also forced him to confess to embezzlement of budget funds, which he did not commit.
