Daniel Klass, a 23-year-old Ukrainian judoka from Dnipro, died defending Ukraine.

Daniel was a candidate for master of sports, bronze medalist of the 2017 Ukrainian U17 Championship, bronze medalist of the 2018 Ukrainian U18 Cadet Championship, and medalist of numerous national tournaments.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Daniel joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
