🇺🇦🙏🇵🇱The Ukrainian people sincerely sympathise with Poland, which is suffering from the consequences of a large-scale flood. Our meeting in Warsaw with the Marshal of the Senate of Poland, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błonska, began with these words.

On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada, and as a citizen of Ukraine, I expressed my condolences to Ms Marshal and the Polish people over the loss of life and destruction caused by the natural disaster.

Ukraine is close by and is always ready to help. If necessary, one hundred Ukrainian rescuers equipped with all the necessary equipment are ready to go to Poland.

👏 We will never forget and will always be grateful to Poland for its military, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine totalling €4.3 billion since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion.

We are grateful to Poland for its continued support of Ukraine on its path to EU and NATO membership.

A political invitation to membership is very important for us.
