It is necessary to make Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin beg Ukraine and its allies to negotiate, said Polish President Andrzej Duda at the “Ukrainian Breakfast” in Davos.
The Polish President stressed that not every peaceful resolution of the war aligns with the interests of Ukraine, Poland, or this part of Europe and the EU.
He pointed out that these are countries that were behind the “Iron Curtain” for years and considered part of Russia’s sphere of influence.
Duda stated that a plan is needed to ensure peace for Ukraine, its sovereignty, and Russia’s compliance with international law.
He also emphasized that the war in Ukraine “is not a local conflict but a global one, requiring global solutions.”
