Today my favorite store was having a massive sale. I think they must have bought the inventory from a store that went out of business.
They were having a massive sale. They had things all over. Boxes and boxes lining the aisles. 4 pack in aluminum cans of bloody mary mix. Very spicy tomato juice. 7.5 ounces per can. I bought 8 of the 4 packs since they were 50 cents a 4 pack. I didn't buy any root beer because it wasn't diet. They had probably 500 2 liter bottles at 50 cents a bottle.
In the frozen section I bought 4 boxes marked creamy marinara chicken, brand name Healthy Choice. 11 ounces. They were 50 cents a box. When I got home I discovered they were like TV dinners. one compartment had broccoli. The other had a small chicken steak with marinara sauce on top in a bed of rice. The rice was soggy but the steak delicious.
All sorts of other things. I bought a case of Ritz crackers for $3. What a box normally costs Well, I need to finish putting groceries away. And give most of the rice to possoms.
