@freemo computers came to India only in 1987 or so. At least the PCs. The big ones were there, but not generally available for the masses. I'd have loved to have learned with the commodore or the Atari.
@freemo I started learning on the 2 floppy PC. 2 five and quarter inch floppies. When the PC-XT with a hard disk was announced, people were ecstatic. 8088.

@freemo Indians and Pakistanis are essentially the same. We weren't aware that we are Indians and Pakistani till the Brits broke us up and left. 
And yes, we are all usually considered South Asians. Further east is South East Asians.
