This morning, I'm trying to write a little on the industrialisation of animal agriculture. I have a few books, taken out our library. I've just opened the first one, supposedly providing a history of animals in society. Nothing on industrialised agriculture in more than 7000 years of charted history (ending at 2000CE) 🤷‍♂️. What a strange decision.

@SteveCooke Found some nice tidbits in Chapter 2 of Anna Neima’s The Utopians about Dorothy and Leonard Elmhurst’s Dartington Hall which saw the construction of the first Chicken factory farm by Gustave Heuser and some other stuff.
