While there are bigger issues liberals and the opposition are demanding action on, give them a smaller yet noteworthy issue to outrage over, and you've successfully moved the important issues to the backburner. Just heard from my dad that ₹2000 notes will be banned soon. Banks aren't releasing those notes. The government has stopped the printing of ₹2000 notes due to the suspicion of tax evasion and money laundering.
