@renardboy Isn't there a place where to bring the trash that does not belong into the garbage bins in canada? Like for all the discarded electronics, construction waste, bulk waste?
Here in germany those guys take chemical waste too.
@renardboy Ah, that makes sense. Would have to break the seal and say it's probably tainted and not even that is really a guarantee.
@renardboy Oh wait. Is the stuff legal to use in CA? I mean if not, the risk of resale would be minimal?
@admitsWrongIfProven Yep, it's legal. You can literally buy it at garden centers 😬
There are ongoing efforts to fully outlaw it in Québec though, maybe I can keep it until then.
@renardboy Time to responsibly dispose of the garden centers!
@admitsWrongIfProven Man, I wish.
@renardboy I agree with your concern. Glad you are trying to destroy it permanently. I doubt recyclyng centers or any government agency would render it unharmful. Bioremediation is probably your best bet but quick search only finds how once it is on soil.
You might search terms below, or contact local organic gardening/farming orgs for guidance.

sheet mulch style with oyster mushroom mycelium laced substrate like wood chips or sawdust, add roundup to be destroyed, keep contained over months or maybe years (?) while mycelium breaks it down into safe compounds. But this is amateur first guess so make if it what you will.
Hopefully someone or org in your area is already doing this.
Good luck!
@BrambleBearGrrrauwling @admitsWrongIfProven Thank you! I will definitely look into that!
@admitsWrongIfProven Yeah, there is, though they resell stuff that isn't broken, which is obviously awesome but what I have is technically probably "perfectly good" roundup.
I feel like I have a duty to make sure it's destroyed and not simply used somewhere else. I don't want to enable some uninformed person to poison themselves and their land at a bargain.
