Gender is commonly seen as a choice, so it's actually a sex reveal.
@VeroniqueB99 I despise them even though i barely heard enough to piece together what they are. Sex revelation and showering guests with babies are such strange things.
@admitsWrongIfProven They're a "party" where the future parents tell what gender baby they're having...This got completely out of hand with insane ways to do it (exploding blue cakes etc...)

That's a fantastic idea - right at the "annoyed teenager" phase, this should provide some entertainment. If you also ask what job they want to do later (for the 100th time), i don't even think you need any fireworks to start the requisite wildfires!
