@OpenComputeDesign I use the galaxy fold. I love it. Small screen for the quick text and open it to a big screen. Works great for ssh sessions and you can put one app on half the screen and another on the other half. So I can watch something and still message or mastodon on the other half. Or have ssh going and Google when working on stuff. Not sure if I could go back to a normal phone.
@omnipotens I checked, I can't afford any folding phones
@OpenComputeDesign I seen older used ones on ebay for like $400
@omnipotens Thank you. But that's still outside my budget
@OpenComputeDesign ah ok, I will check my pile of old phones if I have a fold in there still its yours but I think I might have gave my old one away already not sure. I will see what I have. I have a stack of samsung phones. My wife is always upgrading her and the kids phones.
@omnipotens That'd be mighty generous, but you don't have to.
Besides, if I end up not liking it, I'll feel like such a jerk :P
@OpenComputeDesign Its not like I am doing anything with them. I am to lazy to put the effort into selling them lol. So if you don't like it sell it or trash it I don't care they are just collecting dust. Again not sure what I have. Let me check if I have anything left worth a damn.. All I know is I have a junk drawer full of phones.
@OpenComputeDesign
Look at it as spiting a very profit hungry industry, in a way that is superior to those laughable "trash art" things. It's one electronic device that won't end up being polluting a third world country.
