@admitsWrongIfProven @the_etrain Yep, true - lightning loves metal - like pipes or wires. That’s why they say not to use the shower, electric appliances or a landline during thunderstorms. The unthinkable actually happened to an acquaintance talking on a landline phone during storm. According to the post-mortem report, the lightning entered his body through his mouth (through the phone’s mouthpiece) and exited through the soles of his feet. He made the news.
