Ugh, the JWs aren't just door knocking anymore, they're sending out form letters with pamphlets. My eldest just got one. We are trying to figure out how they got his name and address as he's not really been established as an adult for very long. The letter was typed with no signature, but the envelope was handwritten to his name (or resident).
I was going to call them in a huff and tell them to fuck off sending their bullshit to our house but my kid stopped me and reminded me that neither of us have the bandwidth to take on a battle with the JWs right now.
Take your sky fairy proselytizing the fuck out of here, you nutbars. Even if we weren't dyed in the wool atheists and were looking for an Xtian church to join, the JWs would not be on the list.
@ruemaleficent Not sure what differences there might be in different countries, but here (germany) i saw some of them handwriting the envelopes in front of our mailbox. So maybe there is no sending or registry, just mailbox stuffing?
I think it changed around the time covid started, but i am not 100% sure on that.
(sidenote: "no ads and no free newspapers" was ignored)
@ruemaleficent How unpleasant. Wish you best of luck then to get them to stop without any risky action.
@admitsWrongIfProven Next time there's a similar letter I'll be steaming it open to check then resealing it and returning it to sender with extreme prejudice.
