one thing about wind and solar is they may be less susceptible to accident or sabotage than fossil fuel infrastructure. (but what about large-scale batteries?)

@interfluidity I'd agree with cory doctorov here and say the management and grid connection hardware (or better, its software) is the sabotage risk. Like inverters that need an internet connection, as long as that is common the stuff is not actually safer.
