Remember, this is not virtualisation. That Windows XP instance is running on the SunPCI iiipro PCI-X card, which is a full x86 PC on a card. The SunPCI software on Solaris talks to the card and shows it on the Solaris desktop for you to interact with. Performance seems quite good.

The SunPCI iiipro also has its own USB/Ethernet/VGA/etc. ports on the back, so you can output what's running on it to a real monitor as well, and control it with a real mouse and keyboard. Or both! It's fucking wild.

I'm so, so, so elated.

@thomholwerda So you not only put windows in its place, you also denied it the cool factor of being virtualized.

Like shredding an animal and pushing it into its own intestines, you turned windows into a saussage? But you kept your hands clean, as it has a seperate mouse, keyboard and monitor?
