IMO, the Rapunzel story makes no sense. A soon as anyone would try to climb into the tower by grabbing Rapunzel's hair, she would get her head bashed on the window sill. It's not like they say she has supernatural strength.
Or, if we amend the story to give her supernatural strength, why is she trapped there?
