Sitting here once again in bafflement that the entire car industry decided _long_ cars (more deceleration in an accident) are too dangerous, and _tall_ cars (more rolling over in an accident) is much much safer.

@admitsWrongIfProven Supposedly, safety is at the very core of modern cars, and if you aren't driving the newest car, you _will_ die.

But like, they're also killing record numbers of pedestrians, so it's just _possible_ car makers are lying :P

@OpenComputeDesign The crazy part is that this dysfunctional system has gone on for so long without killing enough people to also kill itself. Same thing i'm wondering about in viruses. How do they do it?
