I still can't believe life is something people actively _enjoy_

Like, not just tolerate for the time being. _Enjoy_

Like, had life not been thrust choicelessly upon them, they would actively _choose_ to live.

I don't get it.

@OpenComputeDesign Happiness is a choice. Suffering is a choice most people don't realise they've chosen. Try to pick happiness. You might have heard of 'mindfulness' and you might think it's BS, but it's about teaching you to be mindful of the choices you are making. Once you are mindful of the choices you are making at any moment then you can choose healthier options. You can choose to pay attention to positivity instead of negativity.

I mean, I guess that's probably true. I guess I just don't really see the point in being happy

If there were a pre-made point, you would be a slave.
I think of this in this way: If there was a god demanding something, making it a point... that would be my arch enemy.

I see the frustration of not cooperating for a common good, but why would there be a point before the cooperation?

** this might be colored by the point i have chosen, yours is valid too if it is based on cooperation **
